What people say about Los Gigantes
Summary
Five public pages were read for Los Gigantes: three English travel or beach guides, one expat-oriented property site and one German guide. All five are tourism-oriented; none is written by a long-term buyer or renter, and no source gives rental yield or purchase-process detail.

Four of the five describe a quiet or small-town resort with a marina and a small black-sand beach; one adds that it is low-rise and cannot expand because of the cliffs. The drawbacks raised are limited: tight parking (two sources) and a modest beach (one source). One blog sees local village character and cheaper restaurants than Costa Adeje. Tone leans promotional, and two pages are dated 2017 and 2025; the rest are undated.

The mood at Tenerife's West Coast is more down to earth. Life is friendly within the relatively small community.
Das Meer ist hier fast das ganze Jahr über von Wind und hohen Wellen geschützt, sodass Schiffs- und Bootsfahrten hier besonders beliebt sind.
For me, besides its breath-taking natural setting, it was particularly the fact that it has maintained the traditional Canarian character of a village despite being a coveted resort town.

The parking situation is often tight. There is a paid parking lot at the port and some free parking options, but these are further away.
The price-performance ratio is optimal because you only get the freshest seafood, but at lower prices than in the Costa Adeje area.
Los Gigantes is a charming, nice and relatively quiet holiday resort. With a very few exceptions, the houses are low-built and the cliffs surrounding the town prevent it from growing any further.
...a small black sand beach – Playa de los Guios, which whilst well-positioned, isn’t the most picturesque on the island.
