Saying that – if you like a quiet life (I do), then it would be perfect. CdF is very pretty and fairly central so good for access to the rest of the island.
Cons: Less nightlife and cultural variety than Corralejo, may feel “expat bubble”-like, less Canarian authenticity.
Since this whole area was created for Tourism, there is no town centre to speak of, though most restaurants and bars can be found in the northern half of the resort.

Though the resort is not close to any of the long and beautiful stretches of beach that Fuerteventura is famous for, Caleta de Fuste does offer some safe and family-friendly artificial beaches that are protected by rocky reefs and breakwaters.

Caleta de Fuste, also known as Castillo, sits about 10 kilometers south of the capital, Puerto del Rosario. Popular with British, Irish, and German expats, as well as families and retirees, it offers a more laid-back, suburban feel compared to Corralejo.
